Smart Contracts
The paypledge platform's core functionality resides within smart contracts primarily deployed on the Private EVM Network. These contracts automate key processes like underwriting, collateral management, and the transaction lifecycle, providing a secure and transparent framework for trade financing.
The main smart contracts operating on the Private EVM Network are:
- The PayPledge Smart Contract
- The CollateralManager Smart Contract
- The TradeTokenBridge Smart Contract (ERC-3643)
These contracts manage the underwriting process and provide crypto-backed guarantees for trade transactions.
- PayPledge Smart Contract: The core contract managing collateral-backed payment pledges, their lifecycle, collateral handling, and discharge.
- CollateralManager Smart Contract: Facilitates the underwriting process by managing Underwriter whitelisting and the submission/selection of Credit Underwriting Offers (CUOfs).
- Trade Token (ERC-3643): The collateral token used on the private network, managed by the TradeTokenBridge contract.
- LiquidityPool Smart Contract: Manages the deposit and withdrawal of coins on the Public EVM Network (Layer-1), facilitating the bridging to Trade Tokens.
- Token Exchange Contract, which facilitate exchange of tokens, for other tokens or off-chain fiat payments. They provide a safe mechanism to redeem tokens for purposes like early financing.
