The PayPledge Platform

The PayPledge platform modernizes trade finance by leveraging blockchain technology to provide a more secure, efficient, and accessible system with benefits ranging from enhanced security and liquidity to streamlined processes and improved risk assessment.

  • The platform supports two types of guarantees.

    1. Guarantees made with an underwriters private/personal trade tokens.
    2. Guarantees made with public tokens that are exchangeable to stablecoin.
  • Underwriters can be either

    1. A Preferred underwriter who guarantees the trades of a counterparty, or
    2. One found from a marketplace of underwriters who provide liquidity to the system.
  • The platform comprises of a few distinct components that work together to facilitate trade transactions and credit underwriting. These components include a Private EVM Network for core smart contracts, a Public EVM Network (Layer-1) for liquidity and a Bridging Service for token movement. The architecture is designed to ensure security, efficiency, and scalability in trade finance operations.

  • Core Trade Transaction Flow: Understand the end-to-end process of a trade transaction on the platform. This outlines the typical steps from buyer initiation, securing the pledge with collateral, seller acceptance and delivery, payment, and potential dispute resolution.

  • Key Roles in the Ecosystem: Understand the different participants and their high-level functions. The ecosystem includes the Buyer, Seller, Payment Processor, Underwriter, and Dispute Resolver.

  • System Overview: An overview of the platform's multi-layered architecture. The platform operates across distinct layers, including the Private EVM Network, Public EVM Network, and Bridging Service.
